Quick Cherry Sauce
2 cup  frozen unsweetened sour red cherries
0.6667 cup  sugar
0.6667 cup  cold water
0 1/4 cup  cold water
2 tbsp  Starch, corn, Argo
0 1/4 cup  fresh lemon juice
  1. Bring cherries, sugar and 2/3 cup water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium high heat, stirring often.
  2. Stir 1/4 cup water and cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth and stir into the boiling cherry mixture.
  3. Return to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened, about 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
