Mulled Wine
1 cup  cold water
0 1/4 cup  sugar
3 each  whole cloves
0 1/4 tsp  ground nutmeg
0.125 tsp  ground cardamom
0 each  ground allspice
2 each  fresh orange peel
2 each  fresh lemon peel
  1. Combine wine, water, sugar, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, allspice, orange and lemon peel in a large saucepan. Bring to a simmer over low heat. Simmer for 20 minutes.
