1 cup  cornmeal
1 cup  white all purpose flour
4 tsp  low sodium baking powder
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0 1/4 cup  Milk, nonfat/skim, with add vitamin A, dry
1 tbsp  sugar
1 cup  cold water
0 1/2 cup  liquid egg substitute
2 tbsp  vegetable oil
0 3/4 cup  Cheese, cheddar, light, shredded
4 oz  canned green chile peppers
1 each  cooking spray
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cornmeal, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, milk powder, and sugar; make a well in center of mixture.
  3. Combine water, egg substitute, and oil; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in cheese and green chiles.
  4. Pour batter into an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes or until cornbread is golden.
