1 each  cooking spray
1 pinch  salt
1 lb  fresh green beans
1 tbsp  butter
4 oz  fresh mushrooms
1 tbsp  minced garlic
1 pinch  black pepper
0 1/2 cup  low sodium chicken broth
  1. Coat slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Place beans, mushrooms, garlic, pepper, chicken broth, and salt (if desired) in prepared slow cooker. Toss well.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours.
  4. Transfer to serving bowl and toss with butter, if desired.
