1 1/2 cup  whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cup  self-rising flour
2 1/4 tsp  low sodium baking powder
0 1/4 tsp  salt
0 3/4 cup  Cheese, cheddar, mild, reduced fat, shredded
0 1/4 cup  fresh chopped green onion
1 tsp  italian seasoning
1 cup  fat free milk
0 1/2 cup  liquid egg substitute
3 tbsp  margarine
1 each  cooking spray
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine wheat flour, self-rising flour, baking powder, salt, cheese, onions, and seasoning; make a well in center of mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg substitute, and margarine; add to well of dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  4. Spoon batter into muffin pans coated with cooking spray, filling two-thirds full.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
