Ingredients Directions
  1. Stovetop Method: Bring everything, (except rice), to a boil over high heat in a large, nonstick soup pan. Let boil 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off heat, Sitr in rice. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes. Season with ground black pepper to taste.
  2. Crock Pot Method: Place all ingredients (except rice) in a large crockpot. Stir until well mixed. Cover. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Before serving, stir in rice. Cover and let sit 5 minutes. Season with ground black pepper to taste.
