1 cup  mirin
1 tsp  ground ginger
1 each  serrano chili peppers
1 tsp  minced garlic
2 each  fresh green onions
1 cup  Beer, light
0 1/2 cup  low sodium soy sauce
0 1/2 cup  fresh cilantro
1 1/2 lb  beef tenderloin fillet
  1. In shallow dish, combine mirin, ginger, serrano chili, garlic, green onions, beer, soy sauce, and cilantro.
  2. Add the fillets, turn to coat well. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet.
  4. Cook 5 to 10 minutes on each side, depending on preference of doneness. Serve immediately.
