3 tbsp  chopped parsley
2 each  medium garlic cloves
0 1/2 tsp  fresh lemon peel
24 each  fresh clams
1 pinch  hot pepper sauce
  1. Preheat grill to medium.
  2. In small bowl, combine parsley, garlic, and lemon peel.
  3. Place clams on grill rack and cook for 5 minutes, or until shells open. Remove with tongs to serving bowl. Discard any unopened clams.
  4. Sprinkle parsley mixture over clams.
  5. Serve with hot-pepper sauce, to taste.
