Ingredients Directions
  1. Melt margarine in large saucepan on medium high heat. Add onion, celery, and green pepper, cook and stir until onion is tender.
  2. Add peas, broth, lemon juice, and seasonings, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 45 minutes.
  3. Add cooked chicken, corn and okra, return to boil, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 6 minutes, or until okra and corn are tender. Remove bay leaf. Serve with rice.
