1 tsp  olive oil
1 1/2 cup  chopped red bell peppers
1 each  medium garlic cloves
2 tbsp  fresh basil
2 tbsp  balsamic vinegar
0.125 tsp  salt
0.125 tsp  black pepper
6 oz  linguine pasta
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the red bell pepper and garlic and cook for 30 minutes uncovered, stirring occasionally. Allow to cool for a few minutes.
  2. Combine cooked pepper and garlic, basil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper in a blender. Blend until entire contents are smooth.
  3. Top cooked linguine with the pepper sauce.
