2 tsp  peanut oil
2 each  medium shallots
3 each  medium garlic cloves
2 tsp  fresh ginger root
2 tsp  fresh lemongrass
4 cup  low sodium chicken broth
2 tbsp  hoisin sauce
1 tbsp  oyster sauce
2 tbsp  light soy sauce
1 tsp  chili sauce
1 tsp  sesame oil
1 tsp  Chinese 5-spice powder
3 cup  low sodium canned black beans
Directions
  1. In medium pan, heat peanut oil over medium-high, add shallots, garlic, ginger, and lemongrass. Brown 2 minutes, add broth, bring to boil.
  2. Add hoisin, oyster, soy, and Asian chili sauces, sesame oil, and Chinese five spice powder.
  3. Add beans. Reduce heat to low and simmer one hour, stirring occasionally.
