  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a 9x9x2-inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Mix together the corn muffin mix, eggs, and milk. Stir well. Spread half the batter into the prepared pan, and top with picante sauce and cheese.
  3. Spread the remaining batter on top, and bake for 20 minutes, or until it is golden brown, and cut into squares. Serve warm.
