2 tbsp  fresh lime juice
1 tsp  lime peel zest
2 each  medium garlic cloves
0 1/2 tsp  hot chili oil
0 1/4 cup  hot red pepper flakes
0 1/2 cup  red wine
1 tbsp  sugar
2 tbsp  soy sauce
1 1/2 lb  flank steak
Directions
  1. Combine lime juice, lime zest, garlic, chili oil, vegetable oil, red pepper flakes, red wine, sugar and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  2. Place steak in enameled baking pan and coat with mixture. Cover with plastic wrap, marinate at least 2 hours, turning occasionally and basting with marinade.
  3. Heat grill and oil grill rack. Place grill rack 4 to 6 inches above flame.
  4. Remove meat from marinade and pat with paper towel. Reserve excess marinade.
  5. Place meat on grill rack and grill 10 to 12 minutes, turning and coating occasionally with excess marinade.
  6. Slice thinly and diagonally. Serve.
