Ingredients

1 lb  fresh green peas
2 each  fresh green onions
0.125 tsp  ground thyme
1 pinch  sugar
2 cup  chicken broth
1 cup  whole milk
1 pinch  salt and pepper
1 pinch  ground nutmeg
1 each  medium carrots
Directions
  1. Place peas, green onion, thyme, sugar and broth in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Let mixture cool slightly. Puree, in batches, in food processor or blender.
  2. Stir in milk, season with salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Garnish servings with freshly grated nutmeg and shredded carrot.
