2 tsp  olive oil
1 each  medium onions
3 each  medium garlic cloves
1 lb  whole loin pork chops
2 tbsp  chili powder
1 tsp  ground cumin
1 tsp  ground cinnamon
1 each  whole pickled jalapeno peppers
1 1/2 cup  cold water
15 oz  canned black beans
1 oz  Grits, corn, serving
0 1/4 cup  fresh cilantro
1 tbsp  fresh lime juice
  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion cooking for about 2 minutes until soft. Add the pork and cook for about 4 minutes.
  2. Add cumin, chili powder, cinnamon, and jalapeno and cook for about 20 seconds.
  3. Pour in water and beans bringing to a boil for about 15 minutes then reduce to low heat. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in grits and cook for about 15 minutes. Then add cilantro and lime juice.
