1 1/2 lb  Tomatillo, fresh, medium
0 1/2 cup  fresh chopped onion
2 each  medium garlic cloves
0 1/4 each  whole jalapeno pepper
2 tbsp  fresh cilantro
0 1/2 tsp  ground cumin
0 1/2 tsp  oregano leaves
0.125 tsp  sugar
1 pinch  salt
16 each  Chips, tortilla, light, baked
  1. In a large saucepan, simmer tomatillos in water until tender, 5 to 8 minutes. Cool and drain, reserving liquid.
  2. In a food processor or blender, process tomatillos, onion, garlic, jalapeno chili, cilantro, cumin, and oregano until almost smooth, adding enough reserved liquid to make medium dipping consistency. Season to taste with sugar and salt.
  3. Serve with baked tortilla chips (not included in nutritional data).
