2 tsp  olive oil
3 each  medium garlic cloves
1 pinch  hot red pepper flakes
1 cup  clam juice
8 oz  fresh clams
0 1/4 cup  chopped parsley
0 1/2 tsp  oregano leaves
6 oz  linguine pasta
  1. Heat oil in a medium skillet. Add garlic and red pepper flakes.
  2. Cook over medium heat for about 1 to 2 minutes. Add clam juice and increase to high heat. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add parsley, clams, and oregano to clam juice mixture and remove from heat. Top the hot linguine with the clam mixture and serve.
