6 oz  dried mixed fruit morsels
0 1/2 cup  orange juice
2 tsp  sugar
1 piece  fresh orange peel
0 1/4 tsp  ground ginger
0.125 tsp  ground cinnamon
2 tbsp  grand marnier
Directions
  1. Combine dried fruit, orange juice, sugar, orange zest, ginger, cinnamon, and 3/4 cup water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and then let simmer for 15 minutes before removing from heat.
  3. Stir in the liqueur and remove orange zest before serving.
