Ingredients Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large ovenproof skillet, cook the beef over medium heat until crumbly and just barely pink, breaking up the meat with a spoon.
  3. Drain off any excess fat.
  4. Sprinkle the beef with the seasoning salt, Italian seasoning, and pepper.
  5. Layer the potatoes, celery, onion, and red pepper over the beef. Pour the tomatoes evenly over the top.
  6. Cover and bake until the potatoes are tender, approximately 40 minutes.
  7. Preheat the broiler.
  8. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the vegetables and broil until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned, about 2 minutes.
  9. Serve in the skillet, scooping out portions with a large spoon.
