1 tbsp  sugar
0 1/2 cup  apple cider
2 oz  applejack brandy
1 1/4 cup  low fat unsalted chicken broth
1 tsp  fresh lemon juice
0 1/2 tsp  salt
0 1/4 tsp  ground nutmeg
2 tbsp  cold water
1 1/2 tbsp  cornstarch
  1. Heat sugar in a pot and heat over medium heat until sugar is lightly browned, do not stir. Mix in turkey drippings, lemon juice, salt, and nutmeg.
  2. Pour in cider, stirring continually. Mix in applejack and cook 1 minute.
  3. Whisk together water and cornstarch and whisk into mixture. Let gravy boil and cook 1 minute stirring continually.
