Ingredients
2 Bacon, cured, naturally hardwood smoked
2 cup chopped apples , peeled (Granny Smith)
0.5 cup red onion, sliced
1 medium garlic cloves , minced
2 tbsp cold water
2 tbsp cider vinegar
3 cup Brussels Sprouts, fresh , sliced
1 tsp stoneground mustard
0.5 tsp kosher salt
0.25 tsp black pepper , freshly ground


Directions
1 Crisp bacon in a frying pan; take out bacon using a slotted spoon and crumble.
2 In same pan, saute apple, onion, and garlic for 5 minutes.
3 Pour in water and vinegar, releasing any browned bits on the bottom of the pan.
4 Stir in Brussels sprouts and cook 5 minutes.
5 Add mustard, salt, and pepper; take pan off of heat.
6 Top with crumbled bacon.
Additional Information
Slice the Brussels sprouts in half to cook easier if they are large.
