Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F.
2 Brown the beef with 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning over medium high heat for 5 - 7 minutes.
3 Mix the beef, remaining Italian seasoning, squash, pepper, onion, garlic, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil in a large bowl.
4 Spoon into a 13x9-inch baking dish. Bake 20 minutes, stirring once.
5 Spread the pizza sauce over the crust. Sprinkle 1/4 cup cheese over the crust. Top with the vegetable-and-beef mixture and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
6 Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes until the pizza crust is slightly browned and the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
Additional Information
Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and oregano before serving.
