Ingredients
12 oz vegetarian protein crumbles
2 eggs , lightly beaten
0.25 cup bread crumbs (whole grain, if available)
0.25 cup fresh chopped onion , finely
1 cooking spray
6 whole wheat hamburger buns , toasted (optional)


Directions
1 In small bowl, mix protein crumbles, eggs, breadcrumbs, and onion.
2 Form into 6 patties.
3 Coat large skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium. Cook patties 5 minutes per side or until preferred degree of doneness.
4 Serve burgers garnished with lettuce and tomato or on whole grain buns.
