1 Mix together the celery, carrots, and water in a saucepan and bring mixture to a boil. 2 Lower the heat, cover, and let simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3 Drain the vegetables and replace them in the saucepan. 4 Mix in the beef gravy, undrained mushrooms, and parsley flakes. 5 Continue simmering for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring often, and then serve.
