Servings
Ingredients
4 oz tuna fillets (sashimi or sushi grade)
0.5 oz fresh mango , minced (about 3 tbsp)
0.5 oz small cucumber, peeled , seeded and minced (about 1 tbsp)
2 tsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp fresh cilantro , chopped
6 oz fresh green onions , separated (tops only)
0.5 tsp toasted sesame oil
0.25 tsp sesame oil (spicy)
1 pinch salt (to taste)
0.5 cup tap water , very cold


Directions
1 Finely chop tuna.
2 Cut 1/2 of green onion tops into fine, long slivers and place in cold water. Set aside.
3 Finely chop remaining green onion tops, add to medium bowl with tuna, mango, cucumber, lime juice, cilantro, sesame oils, and salt.
4 Spoon mixture into martini glass or mound onto small appetizer plate. Garnish with green onion tops from cold water, serve.
Additional Information
Because the tuna is not cooked in this recipe, be absolutely sure you are buying sashimi or sushi grade tuna.
