Servings
Ingredients
2.5 tbsp margarine (or butter)
0.5 lb fresh mushroom slices
3 tbsp white all purpose flour
2 cup low sodium vegetable broth
0.25 tsp ground thyme
0.25 tsp salt
0.12 tsp black pepper


Directions
1 Melt 1 tablespoon margarine or butter in a medium skillet. Add mushrooms and cook over medium heat 3 minutes. Remove mushrooms with a slotted spoon and set aside.
2 Add to the skillet the remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine or butter and flour to skillet; whisk until smooth and cook 30 seconds. Add broth slowly while continuing to whisk.
3 Cook 1 minute, then stir in reserved mushrooms, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring, about 2 minutes more. Pour into a serving dish.
