A smidgen of tahini enriches this dressing and supplies a characteristic nut butter richness without adding lots of fat.

Servings

1.5 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 tbsp tahini
1 large garlic cloves , minced or pressed
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
0.25 tsp ground cumin
0.5 tsp salt
1 pinch black pepper (to taste)

1 Whisk together all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Refrigerated in a tightly covered container, this dressing will keep for about a week.
