Ingredients
4 large red bell peppers , cut into halves
1 tsp sugar


Directions
1 Lay peppers, flesh side down on a broiler pan. Broil until skins are blackened and blistered, about 6 to 7 minutes.
2 Put peppers in a resealable plastic bag for 5 minutes. Peel off skins.
3 Using a food processor or blender, puree peppers and sugar until smooth. Chill until ready to use.
Additional Information
1 jar (12 ounces) roasted red peppers, drained, can be used instead of roasting your own.
