Servings
Ingredients
12 whole jalapeno pepper , stem tops and seed removed
12 raw medium shrimp , peeled, deveined, tail removed
6 turkey bacon , cut in half crosswise


Directions
1 Soak 12 wooden toothpicks in water for 15-20 minutes to prevent from burning in oven.
2 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with foil.
3 Place 1 shrimp inside 1 jalapeno, wrap with half of turkey bacon slice, hold in place with toothpick.
4 Place on baking sheet and bake until shrimp is pink and bacon is cooked, about 10-15 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving.
Additional Information
These can also be grilled using metal skewers. Place 1 skewer through top of jalapeno and 1 through bottom to secure bacon, place 4 jalapenos for each set of 2 skewers. Grill on medium high for about 2-3 minutes per side.
