1 Process all the ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. 2 Pour the mixture into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan; then cover and freeze for 4 hours, or until firm but not frozen solid. 3 Put a large bowl in the refrigerator to chill; then when the mixture is firm, break it into chunks and put it in the chilled bowl. 4 Using an electric mixer, beat until smooth but not melted; then serve immediately or return the mixture to the loaf pan, cover, and freeze until serving time. 5 To serve when frozen, scrape across the surface with a spoon and mound the shaving in dessert dishes.
Additional Information
If you leave the strawberry mixture in the freezer until it becomes frozen solid, let it stand at room temperature for about 15 minutes before breaking it into chunks and beating with an electric mixter.
