2 pint fresh strawberries
2 tbsp chopped pecans , finely (optional)
1 cup farmer's cheese
0.25 cup packed light brown sugar
1 oz raspberry liqueur , or other fruit flavors (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
0.5 tsp ground cinnamon


Directions
1 Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a small bowl until thoroughly combined.
2 Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the sauce is slightly firm.
3 Meanwhile, discard the steams from the strawberries; then cut the strawberries into the bite-size pieces.
4 Spoon the berries into six dessert dishes; then top each serving with equal amounts of sauce and sprinkling of pecans if desired. Serve immediately.
Additional Information
This dish can be served as a breakfast treat by leaving out the liqueur and topping with crunchy whole-grain cereal.
