Ingredients
1 tsp fresh lemon peel
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
24 oz fresh broccoli florets
1 tbsp unsalted butter (or margarine)
0.25 tsp salt
0.12 tsp black pepper


Directions
1 In a 5 or 6 quart pot add about 3/4 inch of water. Place a steamer basket, about 11 inches in diameter, into the pot and bring water to a boil over high heat.
2 Place broccoli into steamer basket, cover and steam until crisp yet tender, about 5-6 minutes.
3 Place steamed broccoli into a large serving bowl and add in the remaining ingredients, toss well to coat, and serve.
Additional Information
If you like brussel sprouts this simple recipe works well with them too.
