Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
3 medium garlic cloves , minced
1 medium onions , chopped
15 oz tomato puree
6 oz tomato paste
2 tbsp red wine
2 tsp hot red pepper flakes
2 tsp capers
2 tbsp fresh basil , minced
1.5 lb raw medium shrimp , shelled and deveined


Directions
1 In large skillet, over medium, heat oil, add garlic and onion. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in tomato puree and paste, bring to boil.
2 Add red wine, pepper, and capers. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
3 Arrange shrimp in sauce, cook over low heat 4 - 5 minutes, until shrimp is lightly pink.
