Directions
1 Cut chicken and pepper into 24 square pieces. Place chicken, pepper, and mushrooms in large resealable bag.
2 In small bowl, whisk orange juice, soy sauce, oil, onion powder, and five spice powder.
3 Pour marinade into bag, securely close bag, and turn bag around to coat chicken.
4 Marinate chicken mixture in refrigerator for 4 to 24 hours making sure to turn frequently.
5 Soak 24 wooden skewers for 20 minutes in water.
6 Preheat broiler while skewers are soaking.
7 Coat broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray.
8 Drain and reserve marinade in small saucepan.
9 Bring reserved marinade to boil.
10 Arrange one piece of chicken, pepper, and mushrooms on each skewer.
11 Place skewers on the prepared broiler pan and brush the skewers with the boiled marinade. Discard any remaining marinade.
12 Place broiler pan 4" from heat. Broil skewers for 5 - 6 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center. Serve.
