1 Sort and rinse cranberries, discard soft or decayed berries.
2 In food processor or blender, purée cranberries, chili, onion, ginger, cilantro, lime juice, orange peel, tequila (if desired), and orange liqueur (or extra peel) until finely diced. 3 Season with salt to taste.

This can be prepared up to one week in advance and kept chilled. Stir before serving.
