Ingredients
1 lb Asparagus, fresh , trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil
3 medium garlic cloves , peeled and thinly sliced
1 pinch salt (to taste)
1 pinch hot red pepper flakes (to taste)


Directions
1 Boil a pot of water. Cook asparagus in water 3 to 5 minutes or until just fork tender. Strain.
2 Pour oil in a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Cook garlic until tender, but not browned.
3 Saute asparagus 3 minutes, season with salt and red pepper.
Additional Information
This also works great with broccoli or cauliflower.
