Servings
Ingredients
1 egg whites
1 tsp cold water
5 cup walnut halves , or pieces
0.5 cup sweetener (sugar substitute)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
0.25 tsp ground nutmeg
0.25 tsp ground allspice
0.5 tsp salt


Directions
1 Preheat oven to 325°F.
2 Lightly coat 15" x 10" x 1" baking sheet with cooking spray. Set aside.
3 In small bowl, combine egg white and water, mix well. Add nuts and toss to coat.
4 In separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over nuts. Mix well.
5 Spread walnut mixture into baking pan and bake 20 minutes.
6 Transfer nuts onto waxed paper to cool. Break into pieces and store in airtight container until ready to use.
Additional Information
One ounce of walnuts equals about 14 shelled walnut halves.
