Ingredients
2.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts (or skinless thighs and drumsticks)
1 pinch salt
1 pinch black pepper
0.5 cup chopped yellow bell peppers
2 oz pitted calamata olives , sliced (and/or pimiento-stuffed green olives)
26 oz low sodium marinara sauce


Directions
1 Place chicken in a 3 1/2 or 4-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle chicken lightly with salt and black pepper. Add sweet pepper and olives to cooker. Pour spaghetti sauce over mixture in cooker.
2 Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 6 to 7 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
Additional Information
You can substitute your favorite variety of pasta sauce for 26-ounce jar meatless spaghetti sauce.
