2 quart Juice, apple, unsweetened, canned/btl (or apple cider)
1 quart water
3 tea bags (regular or decaffeinated)
0.5 medium oranges , with peel, thinly sliced
0.5 fresh lemons , with peel, thinly sliced
12 whole allspice
6 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1 pinch ground allspice (to taste)
1 medium oranges , with peel, thinly sliced (optional)
1 fresh lemons , with peel, thinly sliced (optional)


Directions
1 Bring apple juice, water, tea bags, orange slices, lemon slices, whole allspice, cloves, and cinnamon sticks to a boil over high heat in a large saucepan; then reduce the heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
2 Remove the tea bags, orange and lemon slices, allspice, and cloves; then simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in the ground allspice.
3 Garnish with fresh slices of orange and lemon if desired, and serve hot or chilled.
