Ingredients
1 lb extra lean beef tenderloin (tenderloin steak)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp brown sugar
0.5 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
0.5 tsp ground cayenne (red pepper)
1 cooking spray (nonfat)


Directions
1 Remove fat from steak.
2 Mix together the salt, sugar, cumin, chili powder and cayenne pepper.
3 Press the spices firmly onto all sides of the steak and let stand for 5 minutes.
4 Lightly coat the grill with cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes. Grill the steak for 5 to 7 minutes, or according to your preference.
5 Cut the steak into 4 portions or slice thinly and serve on a warm platter.

The longer you let it marinate, the stronger the flavor.
