Ingredients
2.5 lb fresh green beans
1 tbsp olive oil
0.33 cup slivered almonds (or pine nuts)
1 tbsp unsalted butter (or margarine)
0.25 tsp ground cayenne (red pepper)
1 pinch salt


Directions
1 Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
2 Wash and drain beans. Cut off ends. In two 12 x 17 inch baking pans, toss half the beans with half the oil in each. Spread out evenly.
3 Bake beans 15 to 25 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender and golden.
4 Mix half the nuts and butter into each pan and bake 5 to 6 more minutes. Spoon beans into a serving bowl and toss with cayenne pepper and salt to taste.
