2 lb Beef, top round steak, raw , 3/4 inch thick
1 large green bell peppers , cut into bite-size strips
1 medium onions , sliced
10.75 oz low sodium cream of mushroom soup
1 cup Salsa
2 tbsp whole wheat flour
1 tsp dry mustard
1 cup cooked long grain brown rice (optional)


Directions
1 Trim excess fat from meat. Cut meat into 8 even pieces.
2 In 3-1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker, add meat, sweet pepper, and onion.
3 In medium bowl, combine mushroom soup, salsa, flour, and dry mustard. Pour over mixture in slow cooker.
4 Cover and cook on low heat setting for 9 to 10 hours or on high heat setting for 4-1/2 to 5 hours. Serve with brown rice or other whole grain, if desired.
