Directions
1 Lightly coat a 12-inch skillet with cooking spray, and heat skillet until hot over high heat. Add onions and cook, stirring onions for about 4 minutes or until the onions are browned.
2 Remove the onions from the skillet, set them aside, then use a paper towel to wipe out the skillet.
3 Spray cooking spray over the same skillet and heat until hot. Add the beef and cook for about 10 to 13 minutes, turning the meat once, for medium-rare to medium . Remove the beef from heat and put onto cutting board and let stand for about 3 minutes before cutting.
4 While beef is standing place skillet back over high heat until it is hot and add onion, water, Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Cook the mixture for 30 to 45 seconds or until the liquid has mostly evaporated from the skillet.
5 Slice the beef into thin pieces diagonally and then serve sliced beef with caramelized onions.
