Servings
Ingredients
0.75 lb large raw shrimp , peeled and deveined
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
0.12 tsp salt
0.12 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp margarine
1 cooking spray
0.25 cup shallots, chopped
0.5 cup Papaya, fresh, cubes , peeled
1 tbsp fresh basil , chopped
1 tbsp fresh chives , chopped
0.33 cup white wine (dry)
0.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce


Directions
1 Mix shrimp, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
2 Heat margarine in a cooking spray coated frying pan over medium high heat. Cook shrimp mixture 3 minutes. Take shrimp out of pan and reserve in a warm place.
3 Cook shallots 1 minute.
4 Mix in papaya, basil, and chives and cook 30 seconds.
5 Pour in wine and Worcestershire sauce. Let boil 2 minutes, stirring often.
6 Move shrimp back to frying pan and cook 30 seconds or until fully heated.
Additional Information
Pineapple or mango will also work great with shrimp. Substitute scallops also.
