1 In a shallow heatproof casserole dish, combine the margarine, oil, garlic, and pepper. Add the shrimp and then toss lightly to coat. Spread the shrimp in a single layer and then broil roughly 4 inches from the heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn the shrimp, and then repeat process on the other side until lightly browned. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
