Servings
Ingredients
1.5 lb large raw shrimp , peeled and deveined
1.5 tsp garam masala
1.5 tbsp canola oil
1.5 cup chopped green bell peppers , chopped
1 cup fresh chopped onion
0.33 cup white wine (dry variety)
0.25 cup fresh cilantro , chopped, divided
0.25 tsp salt
0.25 cup black pepper
1 medium limes , cut into 4 wedges


Directions
1 Coat shrimp with garam masala and let rest.
2 Pour oil in a frying pan and heat over medium-high heat. Cook pepper and onion 5 minutes. Mix in shrimp and cook 3 minutes or until shrimp are fully cooked. Mix in wine, 3 tablespoons cilantro, salt, and pepper and sauté 30 seconds.
3 Top each serving with the rest of the cilantro and a lime wedge.
Additional Information
You can find the peppery Indian spice blend garam masala in the spice aisle of large grocery stores. If you can't find garam masala, substitute equal parts ground cumin, pepper, cloves, and nutmeg.
