Servings
Ingredients
1.5 tsp garlic powder
1.5 tsp onion powder
1.5 tsp black pepper
1 tsp celery salt
3 lb Pork, shoulder, whole, lean, raw (boneless)
2 medium onions , cut into thin wedges
0.5 cup cold water
2 cup coleslaw salad mix (or broccoli slaw mix)
1 cup mayonnaise (or salad dressing)
16 Buns, hamburger, mixed grain


Directions
1 In small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and celery salt .
2 Trim fat from roast.
3 Rub spice mixture evenly over roast.
4 In bottom of slow cooker, layer onions, add roast and pour water around roast.
5 Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours.
6 Remove roast and onion from cooker to cutting board. Discard cooking liquid.
7 Using two forks, pull meat and onion apart into shreds, and return meat and onion to slow cooker to keep warm.
8 In small bowl, combine shredded cole slaw and 1/4 cup of mayonnaise .
9 Spread bottoms of the buns with remaining 3/4 cup mayonnaise.
10 Place meat on bottoms of buns, top with shredded cole slaw mixture, then add bun tops.
