Ingredients
1 cup cooking sherry (dry)
3 cup low sodium chicken broth
3 tbsp white all purpose flour
3 tbsp Butter, unsalted (optional)
0.5 tsp salt
0.25 tsp black pepper , freshly ground


Directions
1 In large saucepan, add sherry. Heat over high 5 minutes or until reduced to 1/2 cup.
2 In large bowl, whisk broth and flour. Add to saucepan. Bring to boil, whisking continuously.
3 Lower heat to medium, simmer 10 minutes, whisking often.
4 Stir in butter, if using. Season with salt and pepper.
