Ingredients
1.5 lb fresh green beans
2 tbsp Butter, unsalted
0.25 cup shallots, chopped (2 medium)
0.5 tsp salt
0.25 tsp black pepper


Directions
1 Place a steamer basket in a large saucepan. Add enough water to come just below bottom of basket. Bring to boiling.
2 Place beans in steamer basket. Cover and steam for 5 to 7 minutes or until beans are crisp tender.
3 Meanwhile, in a large skillet, melt butter over medium high heat. Add shallots. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
4 Add beans, salt, and pepper to skillet. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes more or until heated through.
