3 tbsp white all purpose flour
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 tsp dried marjoram
1.5 lb large scallops
2 tsp olive oil
0.5 cup white wine (dry)
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 pinch chopped parsley (optional)


Directions
1 Add flour, salt, marjoram, and scallops to a resealable plastic bag, shake to coat.
2 Pour oil in a frying pan and heat over medium high heat. Sear scallops 3 minutes per side. Take out of pan and set aside in a warm place.
3 Pour wine and vinegar into pan and cook 3 minutes or until it begins to become thick, stir with a whisk continually while cooking.
4 Add in scallops and coat with sauce. Take off of heat and top with parsley sprigs.
Additional Information
This is great served with orzo tossed with chopped tomato, feta cheese, basil, salt, and black pepper. Shrimp also work great in this recipe.
